My Thoughts on Fish in a Tree by Linda Mullaly Hunt

Hello and happy Saturday. This week I read one of those books I wish I had read when I was younger. I also lost count of the number of times I cried when reading it. I’m talking about Fish in a Tree by Linda Mullaly Hunt.

I have a mental list of “musts,” books that I think everyone should read, and Fish in a Tree is one of them. If, like me, you’re a teacher, it’s going to remind you why you decided to become a teacher. If you’re a parent or caregiver, it will make you notice (if you haven’t already) that every kid is brilliant and amazing, in their own way. If you’re a kid, then you probably shouldn’t be reading this blog, but since you are, I think that this will be one of your favorite novels. And if you’re none of the above, this novel is going to reconnect you with your inner child and, I’m sure, it’ll help you in your process of healing your inner child.

I don’t really want to tell you what this book is about. I want you to discover it yourself, and let me know what you think about it. If you are a teacher and you are interested in having your students read this book, hit me up, I have created a series of resources that can be helpful. Have a beautiful month of April!
