Hello and happy Sunday! Okay, that probably was too much enthusiasm, especially considering that I’m writing this on a Monday, after a day of teaching and doing things that aren’t really related to teaching but that teachers have to do. Don’t get me started on that. Anyway, I’m bringing you a post because I don’t know how long it’s going to take me to read the book I’m starting today. It’s an assigned reading, it was written by an old white guy (a white old guy?), and it’s a part of this list, so share your guesses in the comments.
Where I work, there’s this thing called a Reading Passport, which I know exists in many other places, and it’s a way to get people to read. As soon as I found out about it, I got mine, even if I’ve already read one book and don’t really know how the system works. I will ask around or figure it out myself, if not for the giftcard you get when you finish it, for the personal satisfaction of reading diverse books in terms of the nationality of the authors. Just so you know, some titles are in Spanish, and some are in English. I’m not sorry, I read in two languages. Also, I won’t link the books because…I don’t want to, but here’s the list. Also, to clarify, I didn’t pick the countries, so I have to stick to what was already established. (Last also, I promise.) Also, I will not be reviewing every book from this list, only the books in English I feel like reviewing. Now, the list:
