My (Final) Thoughts on Imperfect Lives

Hello and happy Sunday. I’m on vacation until January 9th, which means that hopefully I’ll get a lot of reading and reviewing done. Receently, I finished reading Imperfect Lives by CJ Washington. If that book sounds familiar, it’s probably because I made a post regarding my thoughts on it when I’d read about 50%. You can read this review here.

Now, the second half of the book didn’t disappoint. In fact, I’m surprised that even after having to put it down for a few weeks, I was just as intrigued about the plot and how it would unfold. I do think that everything wrapped up way too cleanly and nicely, but maybe that was a choice the author made to avoid leaving any room for speculation or interpretation. I stand by my original comment that this felt like watching one of those true crime documentaries on YouTube. I would for sure read more from this author.
