Hello and happy Sunday. After a period of fires and droughts, it is raining again where I live, which means that I won’t leave my home unless it’s extremely necessary. And, obviously, given those conditions, I’ll be home reading until I have to go to work tomorrow.

Last week I finished reading The Season of You & Me by Robin Constantine, and I think it was a pretty alright book, albeit one of those you start forgetting the moment you close it. The novel alternates between Bryan’s and Cassidy’s (?) perspectives and what goes on during the summer when Cass goes to where her dad lives as a way to get over a messy breakup. Bryan lives there too, of course, and they’re both working as camp counsellors. It is pretty much your standard summer YA romance, except for the fact that Bryan is in a wheelchair. From what I could gather based on a little research I did, the author is not paraplegic herself. I might be wrong, of course, and if that’s the case, let me know. Like I said, this was a very typical and very forgettable novel, but the process of reading it was entertaining.
