My Thoughts on Love Interest #9

Hello and happy Sunday. I know I basically didn’t post in May even though I did read the same number of books I do on average. I was just dreading sitting in front of my computer and writing a review, okay? That means that I have a list of posts to write before I get to reviewing in somewhat of a real time. Today I will tell you about Love Interest #9 by Mia Summers, and if the author’s name sounds familiar, it’s because I have already reviewed a book by her. You can click here to read that review. I had the chance to go over these two books and share my thoughts about them thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher.

In this novel, we get to read from the perspectives of Rachel, who’s recently gone through a breakup and gone back to her hometown, and Lucas, a famous actor who is going into writing, directing, and producing, and who ends up going to, you guessed it, Rachel’s hometown. Rachel works as a wilderness guide, and for a few days becomes the location scout for Lucas’ upcoming movie, and we all know what happens, right? This is a cute, generally low-stakes story, that is easy and enjoyable to read. It was actually the perfect read for these past few weeks, which have been super busy for me because I didn’t have to give it too much thought.
