My Thoughts on Navigating With You

Hello and happy Sunday. You haven’t noticed because I have scheduled the last two posts that I wrote, which has allowed me to take a short break from blogging. I’ve been doing some reading, though, which means that you can count on getting reviews by me. The last book I finished was a graphic novel titled Navigating With You, which was written by Jeremy Whitley. I’d like to thank NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Before I share my actual thoughts about the novel, I’d like to make a disclaimer based on my research, and it is that this book is heavy in terms of representation, but it is not own voices. I understand that it could deter some readers from acquiring or consuming this book, so I think it’s important to state that.

Now, my review is going to be short and sweet, just like this book was. I think that this would be a great read for tweens or teens who want to get into graphic novels and who are exploring issues related to their sexual orientation. I would appreciate it even more if it were own voices, but I did not find the contents of the story problematic in any way.
