My Thoughts on Same Time Next Year

Hello and happy Tuesday. Over the weekend I listened to way too many audiobooks (I’m not complaining, though) and one of those was Same Time Next Year by Tessa Bailey. Now, I’ve heard about this author because she’s well known in the romance/erotica world. I’m pretty sure this was a novella, so expect weird time jumps, little to no character development and not a lot of plot. It wasn’t as filled with sex as I’d anticipated, but I think that is how these books are now written, which I appreciate because if for some reason you want to consume the story but not the sex, you can skip a chapter or two and keep going. In total, I think there were about two or three explicit sex scenes, which were pretty long. This was an entertaining and ultimately inconsequential book.
