Hello and happy Sunday. This is Camila from the past, scheduling this review because I imagine I am currently out in Medellin, walking with my dad and his dogs. I didn’t want to leave you post-less, so you’re welcome.

This past week I read Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares, a book co-authored by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn, which I remember being iconic way back when. I didn’t really see that. Like, it was alright…if I gave star reviews it probably would’ve gotten three. I know that sometimes when I read backlist books I say something like “I would’ve loved this when it came out,” but with this one, I don’t know. The characters were just too quirky to be relatable, and the writing was so out there that it was kind of pretentious. This is my third book by this author duo, and this one was just meh. That being said, I will read the other novels they’ve co-authored, including a sequel to this one (the other one, I already read and liked better than this one.)
