Hello and happy Sunday. Yesterday I told you about this sort of challenge that I started earlier this week, while I was on vacation. Basically, I felt the dreaded reading slump coming, and I didn’t want that to happen, so I decided I would start reading *every book in my Kindle library* and rank them so that I would read something I actually enjoyed. Don’t worry, I didn’t start reading 500+ books. That would’ve been overwhelming and probably stupid.
What I ultimately did was I read the first page of 20 books from my Kindle library, and I ranked them based on my initial thoughts. I thought what would happen was I’d get rid of many books from the get-go, but in reality, that only happened with one book because it was a NetGalley ARC and it was a devotional and I don’t consume that stuff. I didn’t find my next favorite book, either, but what I’m doing now that the first ranking is done is go over that list and read the first chapter of the book, and reassess the ranking. It’s been interesting, to say the least, and right now I’ve put this project on hold because I have other stuff going on reading-wise, but I think this is a method I will continue to apply so that I can get through my never-ending TBR list.
