Hello and happy Saturday. I recently listened to Hazel and Gray by Nic Stone. This short story is part of the Faraway Collection, which is an Audible exclusive. As you might have assumed by the title, this is a retelling of Hansel and Gretel. It was weird, especially since the author decided to make the main characters lovers, not siblings. It’s also pretty dark and unsettling. It wasn’t my least favorite story from the collection, but it definitely isn’t one of my favorites either.
