Hello and happy Sunday. I know that November has been a shitshow in terms of my posting, and honestly, I felt like it was a pretty accurate reflection of my life. On that note, let me tell you about You Asked for Perfect by Laura Silverman, a book I’m pretty sure I’d read in the past, or at least I’d started it at some point, and that features Ariel, our main character who is basically an overachiever until he realizes that he can’t achieve every goal he set for himself. I think this is a perfect read for teenagers, but also for adults because the situations the main character gets into and his struggles are pretty relatable. It is not a fluffy read and I wouldn’t recommend it at all if you’re feeling overwhelmed because it might have the opposite effect, but it’s totally worth it. This was my second Laura Silverman book and I hope to read more from this author in the future.
