Hello and happy Sunday. I feel like my sister would tell me something if I didn’t also say Happy New Year, so there you go. I think a new year is a perfect opportunity to go back and look at past projects to assess how close I was to achieving them and to maybe set new goals if I am still interested. You see, I’m a planner. I love making lists and envisioning myself working towards a goal, but I work on so many things at the same time, that some of these projects just never come to fruition. I lose interest or motivation.
This happens when I read, too. I make list after list, I design and share challenges, and I start out great, but then at some point I just decide to read whatever I want, and so those challenges never get finished. Luckily, my attempts are recorded here, and I can go back and look at what I originally wanted to accomplish and what I actually did. This revision is going to work as follows: I will list and link the reading projects/challenges I’ve started and shared with you since this blog started, and I will divide the books I originally listed into three categories. These are: Read/DNFed, TBR, and Wishlist. Hopefully, by having these lists in one place, I can prioritize the books I already own and make some progress. I will also try to avoid starting new challenges, but I make no promises because I don’t know if I can keep them.
