Hello and happy Sunday. I’ve gotten pretty used to DNFing books early on, and I mean within the first chapter. This is what happened with Tis the Damn Season by Kimi Freeman. I honestly can’t tell you what it was about besides it clearly being a contemporary romance novel. The female main character was insufferable and I knew from the very beginning I didn’t want to know what happened (or rather, how things would happen) between her and the male lead/love interest. The good thing was that I got it through Everand, so no money was wasted since I was still enjoying a free trial.
