Hello and happy Sunday. If you’ve been in the bookish world for as long as I have, you’ve probably heard of Fredrik Backman. If you’ve been lucky enough, you’ve probably read at least one of his books, but probably not The Answer is No. From what I know, it’s an Audible original, so you can only get it on Amazon.

This is a short story about a guy who’s basically a recluse, but who is forced to interact with his neighbors after a pretty silly incident takes place. It’s funny and even though it is consistent with Backman’s writing style, it’s also way more lighthearted than his other works. If you’re hesitant about reading his full-length novels, maybe this short story might give you a taste of what they could be like, although again, the novels are deeper and hit way harder than this story did.
