Hello and happy Saturday. You know that feeling you get when you want to spend a cozy afternoon, maybe working on a hobby while listening to an audiobook, but rather than an entire novel you want to listen to a short story? Well, I think The Bookstore Family by Alice Hoffman would be perfect for you.
It had all the elements of a women’s fiction novel: some family drama, tough life choices, and of course, romance, but in a condensed form. After having listened to two thrillers, this was a nice palate cleanser. I also think it’s a part of a series, so if you like this short story, you might want to check out the rest of the volumes.
