Hello and happy Saturday. I just DNFed a book this morning because I wasn’t feeling really drawn to it and instead I felt like I was forcing myself to read it. I think my experience with that particular book would’ve been more pleasant had I consumed it via audiobook. I also think that what I need right now is more of a feel-good/palate cleanser kind of story, like In a New York Minute by Kate Spencer.

I read this book a few weeks or even a few months ago, and listening to the audiobook via KU was an enjoyable experience. I believe this can be classified as a rom-com, which I think always makes the stakes lower, and again, makes for a nice, chill reading time. It is told and narrated in dual perspectives, which I prefer because I think it enriches the plot, and it starts with this meet-cute. I’m sue I can fit another buzzword or two in there.
