Hello and happy Sunday. I know you’re craving a “women’s fiction” novel that is not centered around romance and that provides a good reading and listening experience. That’s exactly what Lightning in a Mason Jar by Catherine Mann is.
This is a dual timeline novel that tells the story of Winnie and how she escaped her abusive husband, and her niece, Bailey Rae, all grown up and dealing with the death of her aunt. I did a horrible job at summarizing the plot, but the story is beautiful and worth reading or listening to. I do suggest that you look into content and trigger warnings since there are several, but other than that, I hope you get to meet one of your top reads of the year.
