Hello and happy Sunday. I’m a couple of days away from being on vacation for a week, and I can’t wait to read the books in my monthly TBR list. Last month I only read one book, and though I don’t feel bad about it, I do think I need to get back into the habit of reading during my spare time.
A great book for this, if you’re in a similar situation, is No Rings Attached by Rachel Lacey. I listened to the audiobook via Kindle Unlimited, like I did with Read Between the Lines, which is the first book in this stand-alone series. The books are contemporary sapphic romance, and they’re both fine, although I must admit I did enjoy the first one better. These feature the best friends of one of the main characters from Read Between the Lines who’ve never met in person (as far as I remember.) It is kind of tropey at first, and I also feel it’s insta-lovey, but it’s a nice enjoyable read, and I’ll probably be reaching for the author’s other novels in the future, especially if they’re available in KU.
