Hello and happy Sunday. In a few weeks, people will probably start sharing their “favorite books of the year” posts or videos or whatever. And look, I love that content because I always end up adding titles to my wishlist. I’m not going to arrange my favorites in a list to share with you, but I’ll give you a suggestion of a novel you’ll probably love regardless of your genre of preference. I’m talking about American Sky by Carolyn Dasher.

If you like historical fiction, you’ll enjoy this novel because it covers the lives of the women in three family generations. That also appeals to those who like women’s fiction. It is kind of long, but if you consume it via audiobook, like I did, the experience is pleasant and not at all daunting. I think this is one of those novels that can easily be adapted into a show and the audiences would love it.
