Hello and happy Saturday. It is the last day of my October vacation as I’m scheduling this post, and I’ve decided I’ll spend most of it reading. You’ll actually see the outcome a few weekends from now. I’ve told you about this weird reading mood I was in, and I was coming out of it because I’d started reading A Game of Thrones by R.R. Martin, which was a part of my physical TBR, but I lost that book and I’m not really in an urge to buy it again. I’ve also told you that I DNFed one book from by monthly TBR: Broken Hearts, Fences, and Other Things to Mend by Katie Finn (Morgan Matson.)
This isn’t the first book in this series I’ve read because there’s this prequel (I’m pretty sure it’s a prequel), and the funny thing is I actually enjoyed it. I just think that this volume I’m reviewing now was meant to be read first, so there was a lot I already knew from the prequel or from the additional book, and that just messed up with my reading experience. Now, my big question is whether to get rid of the other books in the series, which I already own, or to give them a chance even if I’ll probably miss key information from this book. I will not read it. I was bored out of my mind, but I might at least get started on the next on (not anytime soon though) and make a decision then.
