Hello and happy Sunday. I think some books come to you when you need them, and that’s what happened with The Dip by Seth Godin. This is a self-help book that is short, sweet, and to the point. It mainly addresses when you should overcome a ‘dip,’ which is when you should quit.
I think this piece advice is especially useful to people in their late twenties or early to mid-thirties who might confuse boredom or a rut for comfort or stability. Now, like I said, this is a very short book, so it doesn’t really provide any actionable steps as to how to quit, but I think its job is to spark in people that need to move, to do something, and that’s where its value lies.
