Hello and happy Saturday. If you have the opportunity to unlock one title from Everand, take it, and listen to Yerba Buena by Nina LaCour. I feel that this author transitioned beautifully from writing YA to NA and now to this full-on adult contemporary novel that is one of my favorite years of 2025.

This is a dual-perspective story of two young women who both deal with hardships as growing up, and who end up crossing paths. It is raw, and it is heavy. I suggest looking at the trigger and content warnings before deciding if this book is for you, especially if you’re sensitive towards some topics. I will for sure reread this book in the future, but before I do, I have to recommend it to you.
