Hello and happy Sunday. You know I don’t watch many movies or TV shows, so when I come here to tell you about one that I love, you should definitely pay attention. Look, it took me like two or three days to watch the entirety of Dickinson, the Apple TV show on, you guessed it, Emily Dickinson.

From what I could gather, this is a rather lose interpretation of her life, so if you’re into historical accuracy, you’re probably better off watching a biography. If you want to have fun, though, and learn some of the poet’s life while appreciating some aesthetic choices that were, like keeping our contemporary slang, and this combination of CGI musical elements, then this is the show for you. This was what actually got me into reading Emily Dickinson’s entire poetry collection, so you know, there was some intellectual growth there, for those of you nerds who were probably concerned.
