Hello and happy Sunday. Today I want to invite you to read a book that is most likely not in your radar or about a topic you’re particularly interested in. This is because I Contain Multitudes by Ed Yong is a nonfiction book on microbes and how they interact with animals.

Look, it did take me a while to finish this. I’m pretty sure it was one of the first books I finished this year, and I’d started it mid-December. I think it is meant to be a slow read, and unless you’re into microbiology it’s probably not going to be the easiest one either, but it was so fascinating. I think besides learning about microbes, which was pretty cool and it even inspired me to get other books on the subject, it sparked my interest in reading about other to read about other random topics and to diversify my consumption of nonfiction.
