The Distance Between Us by Phillipa Ashley.
This is a cute romance short story for readers who want something quick and unproblematic. Our two main characters work for the same organization, which I think is either an NGO or some sort of a charity, but they have only interacted via weekly video calls. The chapters alternate the main characters’ perspectives, and to me that’s always a plus. All in all, this was nice, probably forgettable, but it was a good palate cleanser, and an introduction to the author that I appreciate.
