Hello and happy Monday. I’m about to walk for a couple of hours, but before that, of course, I had to schedule today’s post, which is about The Wizard Returns by Danielle Paige. Earlier this week I talked about this series, so I’m not going to go over the context again.

This novella features the guy who we know will eventually become the Wizard of Oz. He faces a series of challenges and basically instead of choosing the right thing, he ends up making selfish choices. It reminded me of Dorothy’s novella, and as I said in that review, I like to see that collision of the real world and this fantastic place, and how the characters’ unique life situations and aspirations lead them to make decisions that ultimately only benefit them.
