I read this memoir via audiobook, which I think helped connect with what the author expressed about her experience with post-partum psychosis. The subject matter is heavy, and this is clearly not a book for every reader. The author makes this explicit in her content warning. I believe that if anything ese, this is a valuable resource for people who might experience what Lage did, or to raise awareness of a mental health condition that I didn’t know about before reading this memoir.
