Hello and happy Saturday. I recently read one of the oldest books in my TBR list: Evergreen by Susan May Warren. The tagline is that it is a winter novella, but really it’s a Christmas one. Not only that, it’s a Christian novella set around Christmas. I knew this because I’ve read other books from the Christiansen (pun totally intended) Family series.

This novella features the parents of the main characters from other volumes, and honestly, my main takeaway is that some people should just get a divorce, Christian or not. I didn’t enjoy reading this and didn’t DNF it only because the end of the month was approaching and I *needed* to reach my yearly reading goal before then.
