I must admit that it took me a while to get into this book, but once I did, I absolutely loved it. This tells the story of four generations of Jewish women who live in a coastal town in Italy and who dedicate their lives to weaving. It sounds whimsical, but it’s really not, since it deals with heavy issues like war and persecution. It is definitely a memorable novel through and through.
