Hello and happy Saturday. I love being on vacation because I have time to basically read everything I’ve been neglecting for months. That’s the case with Guarding Temptation by Talia Hibbert, a book that was all the rage when it was released. You know, though, that I like to intentionally come late to the party. I’m not sure if this classifies as a novella or as a novel. What I’ll tell you is that you won’t need more than a day, maybe two to go through it. I must also tell you that it is explicit. I’m not sure if it would be considered as ‘erotica,’ but if not, it’s pretty close to getting there. That means that, though we do get a plot, we also mostly get angst from out main characters and different sexual acts.

The plot? Oh, right. We have Nina and James (?). He is her brother’s best friend and is about seven years older than her. For a few years now, they’ve started crushing on each other, though. Nina runs a blog in which she comments on social and political issues, and because of it, she starts getting harassed online, to the point where she fears for her safety. And, of course, James is there to protect her.
