Hello and happy Sunday. The number of books I’ve rated lowly has decreased in the past couple of years as my DNFs increase. However, sometimes I just happen to finish a horrible book, and that means I’ll tell you about it. Confessions of an Ugly Girl by Alice Wasser is as horrible as the author claims the main character to be. Now, I won’t tell you about the plot of this novel because the title is pretty self-explanatory. What I’ll tell you is that the main character is way uglier on the inside than she is on the outside, and really on the outside she’s one of those people who confuse being fat for being ugly. She could also brush her hair, wash her face and use tweezers more often. I will be reading the sequel, though because this was a quick read and I need those every once in a while.
