Hello and happy Wednesday. Have you read a super tropey cookie-cutter middle-of-the-road contemporary romance novel and thought to yourself ‘I need this in a sapphic romance’? Well, today’s your lucky day because now you know about Written in the Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur.

This is not a bad novel, but it isn’t good either, really. Like I said, you have tropes like a fake dating, which lasts for like two dates. It also has a grumpy/sunshine duo, and of course, it includes a third act conflict, which is resolved, but also that final scene seems to have been cut halfway through. I’m not a fan of epilogues, but I feel like I at least needed one more chapter to wrap up the story.

If you have the time, if you want to read something that doesn’t require you to think much, or if you want to read a KU title, this is for you.
